The museum offers organized playgroups Monday-Friday at set times throughout the day. The groups meet weekly for 90 minutes from September through June. Anyone with a child from age 18 months to pre-kindergarten is eligible to enroll his/her child in a playgroup. There is also a special group for babies under 18 months of age. If a person wants to get their child into a playgroup they contact the Playgroup Coordinator, who will sign her up or put her on a waiting list if the playgroup is full. Board members and volunteers have priority on playgroup waiting lists. Parents are required to stay with their children at playgroups.

Fees for joining a playgroup include a yearly non-refundable registration fee of $25 for Wilbraham residents and $30 for non-residents and a session fee of $25 per child for every 10 week session. Membership is on-going throughout the year and registration and session fees are adjusted and pro-rated accordingly.

At the time the registration form is received, if your 1st choice playgroup is full you will be assigned your 2nd choice. If the 2nd choice is full you will be assigned your 3rd choice. Confirmation notices will be sent to you.

Every member in playgroup is responsbible to help clean up at the end of playgroup.

Each playgroup has a snack time. Check with your playgroup leader to find out specifics on your snack time.
